IPR Enforcement: Jump Rope Systems, LED Lighting Devices

Jump Rope Systems. In patent infringement investigation 337-TA-1108 of certain jump rope systems from China, the ITC’s presiding administrative law judge has found the sole respondent in default. The ITC is requesting comments by Aug. 20 on the form of remedy, if any, that should be ordered; the effect of any such remedy on the public health and welfare, competitive conditions in the U.S. economy, U.S. production of articles that are like or directly competitive with those that are subject to investigation, and U.S. consumers; and the amount of the bond under which infringing articles could continue to enter the U.S. during the 60-day period the president has to review any ITC-ordered remedy.

LED Lighting Devices. In patent infringement investigation 337-TA-1081 of certain LED lighting devices, LED power supplies, and components thereof, the ITC has determined to amend the notice of investigation to delete the erroneously included respondent Edgewell Personal Care Brands LLC.
