Remedies Issued in IPR Probe of Beverage Containers

In investigation 337-TA-1092, the International Trade Commission has issued a general exclusion order prohibiting the unlicensed entry of certain self-anchoring beverage containers that infringe the patent asserted by Alfay Designs Inc. and Harry Zimmerman. The ITC has also determined that infringing goods may continue to enter the U.S. during the 60-day period for presidential review of this remedial order under a bond in the amount of 100 percent of the entered value.
