FTZ Authority Sought for Warehousing, Power Tool Facilities

The Foreign-Trade Zones Board is accepting comments no later than Sept. 10 on the following.

-The Erie-Western Pennsylvania Port Authority, grantee of FTZ 247, is requesting subzone status at the Hardinger Transfer Co. (d/b/a Team Hardinger Transportation and Warehousing) facilities in Erie and Grove City, Pa. No authorization for production activity has been requested at this time.

- Black & Decker (U.S.) Inc. has submitted a notification of proposed production activity at its facility within subzone 38E in Fort Mill, S.C. This facility is used for the manufacturing of power tool parts and components, the manufacture and assembly of power tools, the packaging and kitting of power tools, and the repair and rework of power tools, parts and accessories.
