FTZ Board Actions on Auto Facility, New and Expanded Subzones

Auto Factory. The Foreign-Trade Zones Board has authorized an expansion of production authority at the Volkswagen Group of America – Chattanooga Operations LLC facility within FTZ 134 in Chattanooga, Tenn. VW already had authority to produce passenger motor vehicles within site 3 of FTZ 134 and the FTZ Board has added foreign status materials and components to the scope of authority.

New Subzone. The FTZ Board has received from the City of Tulsa-Rogers County Port Authority, grantee of FTZ 53, a request for subzone status for the Premier Logistics LLC facility in Tulsa, Okla. No authorization for production activity has been requested at this time. Comments on this request are due no later than May 9.

Expanded Subzone. The FTZ Board has received from the Lake Charles Harbor & Terminal District, grantee of FTZ 87, a request to expand subzone 87F to include two additional sites and several pipelines. Comments on this request are due no later than May 9.
