Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg Trade Report

The Foreign-Trade Zones Board has authorized production under zone procedures at the AGRU America Charleston LLC facility in North Charleston, S.C. AGRU already had authority to produce high-density polyethylene pipe within FTZ 21 and the FTZ Board has now added four foreign status materials/components to the scope of authority. The FTZ Board is also seeking comments by Aug. 20 on a new notification that would add another two finished products and two foreign status materials/components to the scope of authority for this facility.

The FTZ Board is accepting comments through Aug. 20 on requests to expand subzone 76A to include additional sites in Wilton and Bethel, Conn. and subzone 116A to include an additional site in Port Arthur, Texas, that would include several pipelines. No additional authorizations for production activity at these sites have been requested at this time.
