FTZ Board Considers Two Production Requests

The Foreign-Trade Zones Board is accepting comments through July 18 on the following.

- McFarland Cascade Holdings Inc./Stella-Jones Corporation has submitted a notification of proposed production activity for its facility in Tacoma, Washington, within subzone 86H. This company is requesting export-only FTZ authority for its wood product treatment operations involving treated agriculture posts and treated landscape timbers (spruce-pine-fir, Hemlock fir, Douglas fir, larch, aspen); treated plywood (Douglas fir, Larch); treated Hem Fir Lumber; and treated spruce pine fir lumber.

- Nutkao USA Inc. has submitted a notification of proposed production activity for its facility in Battleboro, North Carolina, within FTZ 214. This company is requesting export-only FTZ authority to produce hazelnut cocoa spread using foreign-status refined cane sugar.
