FTZ Board Considers Production Authority, Subzone Requests

The Foreign-Trade Zones Board has received from Lockheed Martin Corporation Space Systems Company a notification of proposed production activity for its facility in Littleton, Colo., which will be used to produce satellites and other spacecraft for space-based use. Comments on this notification are due no later than Nov. 27. A separate application for subzone designation for this facility under FTZ 123 is being processed.

The FTZ Board has received from the Southwest Idaho Manufacturers’ Alliance, grantee of FTZ 280, a request for expanded subzone status for the Orgill Inc. facility in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. No authorization for production activity has been requested at this time. Comments on this request are due no later than Nov. 27.
