FTZ Board Considers Production Authority, Subzone Requests

The Foreign-Trade Zones Board is accepting comments through April 11 on the following.

- International Converter has issued notifications of proposed production activity at its facilities in Caldwell, Ohio, and Iuka, Miss., which are used for the production of insulation facer using a wet-bond or dry-bond lamination process. IC indicates that it will be submitting separate applications for FTZ designation at these facilities under FTZs 138 and 158, respectively.

- The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, grantee of FTZ 78, is requesting subzone status for the CEVA Freight LLC facilities in Mount Juliet and Lebanon, Tenn. No authorization for production activity at these facilities has been requested at this time.
