FTZ Board Considers Production Request for Georgia Agro Vehicle Facilities

The Foreign-Trade Zones Board has received from Kubota North America Corporation a notification of proposed production activity for its facilities in Jefferson and Gainesville, Georgia. The facilities are used for the production of gasoline- and diesel-powered agricultural and specialty vehicles such as backhoes, front loaders, skid steer loaders, lawn tractors and lawn mowers, subcompact tractors, and work utility vehicles. The proposed activity would be limited to certain specific foreign-status materials and components as well as certain specific finished products. Comments on this request may be submitted by Jan. 3.
