FTZ Board Moves to Establish New Subzones

The Foreign-Trade Zones Board has approved the establishment of subzone 38M at the Black & Decker Inc. facility in Fort Mill, S.C. Black & Decker has indicated that it will conduct the same activity at this facility as currently authorized at its subzone 38E.

The FTZ Board has received from the Triangle J Council of Governments, grantee of FTZ 93, a request for subzone status for the MAS US Holdings Inc. facilities in Siler City and Asheboro, N.C. No authorization for production activity has been requested at this time. Comments are due no later than Sept. 5.
