Fuel Rod Assembly Facility Seeks FTZ Production Authority

The Foreign-Trade Zones Board has received from The Moses Lake Public Corporation, grantee of FTZ 203, a notification of proposed production activity at the AREVA Inc. facility in Richland, Wash. This facility is used for the processing of components into fuel rod assemblies, and FTZ activity would be limited to specific foreign-status materials and components and specific finished products. Comments on this proposal are due no later than Oct. 23.
