Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg Trade Report

The Foreign-Trade Zones Board is accepting comments through July 11 on the following.

- The Port of South Louisiana, grantee of FTZ 124, has requested to expand subzone 124D on behalf of LOOP LLC. No additional authorization for production activity has been requested at this time.

- The City of Phoenix, Ariz., grantee of FTZ 75, has requested expanded subzone status for the Conair Corporation facilities in Glendale. No authorization for production activity has been requested at this time.

- Separate notifications of expanded production activity have been submitted for the Mercedes Benz USA LLC facilities within FTZ 50 in Long Beach, Calif., FTZ 74 in Baltimore, Md., and FTZ 144 in Brunswick, Ga. MBUSA already has authority for accessorizing passenger motor vehicles at these locations and the current requests would add foreign-status materials and components to the scope of authority.
