The Foreign-Trade Zones Board is accepting comments through April 3 on the following requests.

Automotive Components. The Louisville and Jefferson County Riverport Authority, grantee of FTZ 29, has submitted a notification of proposed production activity at the Hitachi Automotive Systems Americas Inc. facility in Harrodsburg, Ky. Hitachi already has authority to produce automotive components within subzone 29F and the current request would add an additional finished product to the scope of authority.

Subzone Expansion. The Virginia Port Authority, grantee of FTZ 20, is requesting to expand subzone 20E to include an additional site of STIHL Incorporated in Virginia Beach, Va. No additional authorization for production activity has been requested at this time.

Automotive Vehicles. The Ports of Indiana, grantee of FTZ 177, has submitted a notification of proposed production activity at the Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indiana Inc. facility in Princeton, Ind. Toyota already has authority to produce light-duty passenger vehicles (pickup trucks, sport utility vehicles, minivans) within subzone 177B and the current request would add automotive vehicles to the scope of authority.
