The Louisville and Jefferson County Riverport Authority, grantee of FTZ 29, has submitted a notification of proposed production activity at the Hitachi Automotive Systems Americas Inc. facility in Harrodsburg, Ky. Hitachi already has authority to produce automotive components within subzone 29F and the current request would add an additional finished product to the scope of authority.

Toyota already has authority to produce light-duty passenger vehicles (pickup trucks, sport utility vehicles, minivans) within subzone 177B and the current request would add automotive vehicles to the scope of authority.
