The Foreign-Trade Zones Board has recently announced the following actions.

- received an application from the Puerto Rico Trade and Export Company, grantee of FTZ 61, requesting subzone status for the facility of HP International Trading B.V. (Puerto Rico Branch) LLC, located in Aguadilla (comments are due by July 29)

- received an application from the Puerto Rico Trade and Export Company, grantee of FTZ 61, requesting subzone status for the facility of Puerto Rico Wood Treating Industries Inc., located in Carolina (comments are due by July 29)

- approved production activity under zone procedures at the GlaxoSmithKilne PLC facility within FTZ 93, in Zebulon, N.C., which makes pharmaceutical products

- approved a request by the South Jersey Port Corporation, grantee of FTZ 142, for authority to reorganize and expand this zone under the alternative site framework, with a service area of Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester, Mercer, and Salem counties in New Jersey, within and adjacent to the Philadelphia U.S. Customs and Border Protection port of entry

- approved a request for authority to reorganize the Sault Ste. Marie Economic Development Corporation zone under the alternative site framework, with a service area of Chippewa County, Michigan, in and adjacent to the Sault Ste. Marie Customs and Border Protection port of entry
