FTZ Board OKs Expansion of North Carolina Zone, Production at Heavy Equipment Plant

The Foreign-Trade Zones Board has approved the reorganization and expansion of FTZ 214 to include a service area of Pender, New Hanover, Brunswick, Duplin, Columbus, Bladen, Robeson (east of Interstate 95), Beaufort, Pitt, Hyde, Onslow, Jones, Craven, Pamlico, Lenoir, Carteret, Wilson, Edgecombe, Nash, Wayne, Greene, and Cumberland counties in North Carolina within and adjacent to the Wilmington, Morehead City, and Raleigh-Durham U.S. Customs and Border Protection ports of entry.

The FTZ Board has authorized production under zone procedures at the Deere & Company facility within subzone 133F in Dubuque, Iowa, which is used for the production of construction and forestry equipment.
