Foreign-Trade Zone in Connecticut Seeks to Expand

The Foreign-Trade Zones Board has received from the Economic and Industrial Development Commission of Windsor Locks, grantee of FTZ 71, a request for authority to reorganize this zone under the alternative site framework. The proposed service area under the ASF would be Hartford, Middlesex, Windham, Tolland and Litchfield counties in Connecticut, adjacent to the Hartford U.S. Customs and Border Protection port of entry. Comments on this application are due no later than Dec. 22.
