Maritime Security Advisory Committee Seeks New Members

The Coast Guard is seeking through May 3 applications to fill 16 positions on the National Maritime Security Advisory Committee that will expire or become vacant on June 1 and Dec. 31. Specifically, the Coast Guard is looking for individuals who represent the interests of port authorities, vessel owners or operators, facilities owners/operators, terminal owners/operators, maritime labor organizations, the maritime industry, and the academic community. Such individuals who have at least five years of practical experience in their field are encouraged to apply. NMSAC members each serve for a term of up to three years and may be considered to serve a maximum of two consecutive terms.
