Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg Trade Report

The Consumer Product Safety Commission will conduct a public hearing June 15 to receive views on its agenda and priorities for fiscal years 2017 and 2018. Input is specifically sought on the following topics.

- priorities the CPSC should consider emphasizing and dedicating resources toward

- activities the CPSC should consider deemphasizing

- whether the CPSC should consider making any changes or adjustments to its proposed or ongoing education, safety standards, regulation and enforcement efforts, including whether particular action items should be higher priority than others, should not be included or should be added

- which existing rules the CPSC should consider for retrospective review (i.e., those that may warrant repeal or modification, including those that would benefit from strengthening, complementing or modernizing)
