Litigator Nominated to be CPSC Commissioner
President Trump has announced his intent to nominate Dana Baiocco to be a commissioner of the Consumer Product Safety Commission for a seven-year term beginning Oct. 27. Baiocco has worked as an attorney for a major U.S. law firm for nearly 20 years and is currently a partner in its Boston office. Her work includes defending companies in litigation on consumer and industrial products and medical devices in federal, state, and international courts as well as counseling clients on regulatory and reporting obligations and CPSC product recalls. She served as chair of the Pennsylvania Bar Association House of Delegates from 2009 to 2011 and also served on its board of governors.
