Nature of Notice: New administrative reviews of AD duty orders

Details: The ITA has initiated administrative reviews of the AD duty orders on carbon and certain alloy steel wire rod from Mexico, polyvinyl alcohol from China, and steel wire garment hangers from China for the period Oct. 1, 2013, through Sept. 31, 2014. Final results of these reviews are anticipated by Oct. 31, 2015.

Nature of Notice: Preliminary affirmative CV determination.

Details: The ITA has preliminarily established subsidy rates ranging from 12.50% to 81.29% in this investigation. The ITA will soon instruct CBP to begin collecting CV cash deposits on imports of subject merchandise at these rates. If both the ITA and the ITC issue affirmative final determinations in this case, the ITA will issue a CV duty order and require CV cash deposits at the rates specified therein, which could be different from those set forth in the preliminary determination. A final ITA determination in this investigation is expected by April 6, 2015.

Nature of Notice: Continuation of AD duty order.

Details: The ITC on Oct. 22 determined that revocation of this AD duty order would likely lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury to an industry in the U.S. within a reasonably foreseeable time. Accordingly, the ITA has extended the order for an additional five years.
