The International Trade Administration and/or International Trade Commission have recently announced the following actions in antidumping and/or countervailing duty cases.

Aluminum oxide – continuation of AD duty order on refined brown aluminum oxide from China, effective March 6

Electrical steel – sunset review determination that revocation of CV duty order on non-oriented electrical steel from Taiwan would likely lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury within a reasonably foreseeable time, which will result in the renewal of this order

Glass containers – scheduling of final phase of CV injury investigation of glass containers from China, with hearing scheduled for May 6, pre-hearing briefs due April 29, post-hearing briefs due May 14, and final comments due June 5

New reviews – initiation of administrative reviews of AD and/or CV duty orders on the following products for the period Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2019, unless otherwise noted

- certain softwood lumber products from Canada (AD/CV)

- circular welded carbon-quality steel pipe from United Arab Emirates (AD, Dec. 1, 2018, through Nov. 30, 2019)

- hardwood plywood products from China (AD/CV)

- oil country tubular goods from China (CV)

- prestressed concrete steel wire strand from Thailand (AD)

- potassium permanganate from China (AD)

- welded line pipe from Turkey (AD, Dec. 1, 2018, through Nov. 30, 2019)

Polyethylene – institution and scheduling of preliminary phase of AD injury investigation on ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene from Korea

Shrimp – dumping margin of 3.57 percent in preliminary results of administrative review of AD duty order on certain frozen warmwater shrimp from India for the period Feb. 1, 2018, through Jan. 31, 2019

Steel platede minimis subsidy rates for four companies in preliminary results of administrative review of CV duty order on certain cut-to-length carbon-quality steel plate from Korea for the period Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2018

Steel rod – continuation of AD duty order on steel threaded rod from China, effective March 9
