AD/CV News: Steel Products, Steel Kegs, Cylinders, Washers, Silicon Metal, Bearings

Steel products – self-initiation by the Department of Commerce of anti-circumvention inquiries to determine whether certain imports of corrosion-resistant steel products (CORE) completed in Costa Rica, Guatemala, Malaysia, South Africa, and the United Arab Emirates using Chinese-origin substrate, or imports of CORE completed in Malaysia using Taiwanese-origin substrate, are circumventing the AD and CV duty orders on CORE from China as well as the AD duty order on CORE from Taiwan

Steel kegs – dumping margin of 18.48 percent in final affirmative determination of AD duty investigation on refillable stainless steel kegs from Mexico

Steel cylinders – subsidy rate of 30.62 percent for Beijing Tianhai Industry Co. Ltd. in preliminary results of administrative review of CV duty order on high pressure steel cylinders from China for the period Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2017

Propane cylinders – amended final determination and issuance of AD duty orders on steel propane cylinders from China and Thailand, and issuance of CV duty order on subject merchandise from China

Washers – rescission of administrative review of AD duty order on large residential washers from Korea for the period Feb. 1 through Feb. 14, 2018, due to the timely withdrawal of the review requests

Silicon metal – preliminary rescission with respect to Yunnan Fuyang Trade Co. Ltd. of administrative review of AD duty order on silicon metal from China for the period June 1, 2017, through May 31, 2018, because that company did not make a bona fide sale during the review period

Roller bearings – preliminary rescission with respect to three companies and preliminary determination that a fourth company is not eligible for a separate rate in administrative review of AD duty order of tapered roller bearings and parts thereof, finished and unfinished, from China, for the period June 1, 2017, through May 31, 2018
