Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg Trade Report

Nicotine Cartridges. The ITC has instituted investigation 337-TA-1141 of certain cartridges for electronic nicotine delivery systems and components thereof. The products at issue in this investigation are cartridges for nicotine vaporizers as well as components such as mouthpieces, storage compartments, and heaters. The respondents in this proceeding are located in China, Uruguay, and the U.S.

The complainant requests that after the investigation the ITC issue a limited exclusion order, which would direct U.S. Customs and Border Protection to prohibit the entry of infringing products into the U.S., and cease and desist orders, which would require the named respondents to cease actions that violate Section 337, including selling infringing imported articles out of U.S. inventory.

Dental Ceramics. The ITC has terminated patent infringement investigation 337-TA-1050 of certain dental ceramics, products thereof, and methods of making the same following a determination that a violation of Section 337 has not occurred.
