Proposed Changes to Bahrain FTA Rules of Origin on Combed Cotton Yarns. The International Trade Commission has instituted an investigation on proposed modifications to the rules of origin in the U.S.-Bahrain Free Trade Agreement on certain combed cotton yarns used in the production of certain home furnishings. The ITC will provide advice on the probable effect of the proposed modifications on U.S. trade under the Bahrain FTA, total U.S. trade and domestic producers of the affected articles.
All written submissions must be made by April 29. The ITC expects to transmit its report in this investigation to the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative no later than July 12.
