DOC: AD Cases on Carbon Brick Advance; Foreign Regulatory Changes; Watch Duty Exemption Allocations; Export Privileges Suspended
AD Cases Advance on Carbon Brick from China, Mexico. The International Trade Administration has made preliminary affirmative antidumping duty determinations on magnesia carbon brick from China and Mexico. As a result, the ITA will instruct U.S. Customs and Border Protection to collect cash deposits or bonds based on the preliminary rates, which are 132.74-349.00% for China and 54.73% for Mexico.
The ITA is currently scheduled to issue its final AD duty determinations in these cases in July. If those determinations are affirmative and the International Trade Commission makes affirmative AD injury determinations, the ITA will issue AD duty orders.
