The tariff classification of merchandise determines duty rate, admissibility, eligibility for trade preferences, and quota limitations.
We work closely with each client to ensure that imported and exported products are classified in compliance with the law,
that the client is able to anticipate and make the most of future changes in classification and that business practices are adjusted to
take advantage of the provisions most favorable to the client's current and future operations.
Our classification project management strategy includes the use of an intensive and heuristic system for data-matching and manipulation
that is capable of handling massive amounts of data.
The proprietary system allows our skilled classification analysts to mine data from existing internal and external sources.
Utilized in connection with moderate and large-scale classification projects, the system allows us to efficiently and accurately
pinpoint the information necessary to properly classify merchandise and capitalize on the most favorable classifications sought
through administrative, judicial and legislative provisions.
