MANO HOWARD is Chief Operating Officer for Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg, P.A., resident in the Miami office. Mr. Howard is responsible for the firm’s day-to-day human resources, information technology, and accounting activities. He has more than 40 years of management experience and an in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the offshore manufacturing and importing business worldwide, including cost analysis, customs and trade issues, systems flow and product development.

Prior to joining ST&R, Mr. Howard spent 27 years in the textile and apparel business. Most recently he served as managing partner of a start-up company, where he created direct relationships between foreign manufacturing facilities and U.S. wholesalers and retailers and managed sales growth that went from zero to $60 million in fewer than three years.

Earlier in his career he served as president of two apparel manufacturing companies in Latin America, engineering dramatic increases in sales and output. His achievements included managing product development from concept to manufacture, re-engineering production processes to meet customer needs, establishing distribution warehouses, creating an in-house customs brokerage team, managing foreign cutting facilities, and providing inventory and production tracking.

Mr. Howard holds a B.S. degree in business administration from Bryant University.
