DARYL MOORE is Customs Audits & Partnership Programs Leader with Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg, P.A., resident in the Washington, D.C. office. Mr. Moore has almost 30 years of experience working in the audit environment focusing on import compliance and internal controls. During that time he spent 18 years working for U.S. Customs/CBP as an auditor, computer audit specialist, audit supervisor and field director before joining ST&R. As the Houston field director for Regulatory Audit, he had field oversight responsibilities over the south central region of the U.S. which included almost 40 auditors in six offices managing nearly every type of audit and non-audit service CBP performs. During his career with CBP Mr. Moore worked in several field offices throughout the country, including time spent as an acting oversight director for Regulatory Audit in Washington, D.C.

Working for ST&R, he represents clients undergoing customs audits in the U.S. and Canada, conducts “mock” audits for clients, consults with and performs quantification for clients involved in prior disclosures, assesses internal controls and assists clients with CTPAT Trade Compliance applications and provides applicable training. Mr. Moore holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from George Fox University, a Master’s degree in business administration from Portland State University and a Certificate of Educational Achievement from the Professional Development Institute at the University of North Texas.
