Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg Trade Report

Xanthan Gum. In the final results of its new shipper review of the antidumping duty order on xanthan gum from China, the International Trade Administration has determined a weighted average dumping margin of zero for subject merchandise produced and exported by Meihua Group International Trading (Hong Kong) Limited, Langfang Meihua Bio-Technology Co. Ltd. and Xinjiang Meihua Amino Acid Co. Ltd. (collectively, Meihua). The ITA will therefore instruct U.S. Customs and Border Protection to liquidate the appropriate entries of subject merchandise without regard to AD duties, and no AD cash deposits will be required for subject merchandise that is entered or withdrawn from warehouse for consumption on or after May 22.

New Administrative Reviews. The ITA has initiated administrative reviews of the antidumping and/or countervailing duty orders on the following goods for the periods April 1, 2014, through March 31, 2015 (AD) or Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2014 (CV).

- ammonium nitrate from Russia (AD)

- activated carbon from China (AD)

- drawn stainless steel sinks from China (AD/CV)
