Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg Trade Report

The International Trade Administration has issued the preliminary results of its administrative and new shipper reviews of the antidumping duty order on wooden bedroom furniture from China for the period Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2013.

In its administrative review, the ITA has preliminarily determined that neither Jiedong Lehouse Furniture Co. Ltd. nor 15 other companies for which a review was requested established their eligibility for a separate rate. As a result, the ITA is preliminarily treating these companies as part of the China-wide entity. Since there was no request for review of the China-wide entity, the ITA intends to rescind this review with respect to these 16 companies. The ITA has also preliminarily determined that 12 of the companies for which an administrative review was requested did not have any reviewable transactions during the period of review.

Regarding the new shipper review, the ITA has preliminarily found a weighted average dumping margin of zero for exporter/producer Wuxi Yushea Furniture Co. Ltd.
