Large Residential Washers. The International Trade Administration has amended the final results of its administrative reviews of the antidumping duty orders on large residential washers from Mexico and Korea for the period Aug. 3, 2012, through Jan. 31, 2014. As a result, the weighted average dumping margin for manufacturer/exporter Electrolux Home Products Corp. NV/Electrolux Home Products de Mexico S.A. de C.V. has dropped to 6.22 percent from 6.45 percent and the weighted average dumping margin for LG Electronics Inc. has dropped to 1.38 percent from 1.52 percent.

AD duties based on these rates will be assessed on entries of subject goods during the period of review, and AD cash deposits at these rates will be required for subject goods entered or withdrawn from warehouse for consumption on or after Nov. 5.

Corrosion-Resistant Steel. The ITA has made preliminary affirmative determinations of critical circumstances in its antidumping and countervailing duty investigations of corrosion-resistant steel products from certain producers and exporters in Italy, China, Korea and Taiwan and negative preliminary critical circumstances determinations with respect to others. If the ITA makes affirmative preliminary AD and CV duty determinations on these goods it will direct U.S. Customs and Border Protection to suspend liquidation of all entries of subject goods from the affected producers/exporters that are entered or withdrawn from warehouse for consumption on or after the dates that is 90 days prior to the date the preliminary AD and CV duty determinations are published in the Federal Register. At such time the ITA will also instruct CBP to require cash deposits at the estimated preliminary AD and CV margins.

Violet Pigment. In its second sunset review of the AD and CV duty orders on carbazole violet pigment 23 from China and/or India, the International Trade Commission has determined that revocation of these orders would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury within a reasonably foreseeable time. As a result, these orders will soon be continued for five years.

Barium Chloride. The ITA has continued the AD duty order on barium chloride from China for five years, effective Nov. 5.

The merchandise covered by the order is barium chloride, a chemical compound having the formulas BaCl2 or BaCl2-2H2O, currently classifiable under HTSUS subheading 2827.39.4500.

PET Resin. The ITC has scheduled the final phase of its AD and CV injury investigations of polyethylene terephthalate resin from Canada, China, India and Oman. The ITC will hold a hearing Mar. 1, 2016, requests to appear at the hearing are due by Feb. 24, pre-hearing briefs are due by Feb. 23, post-hearing briefs are due by March 8, and final comments are due by March 28.
