AD/CV Notices: Violet Pigment, Pencils, Pasta, Chloropicrin, PET Film, Xanthan Gum
Violet Pigment. In its sunset review of the countervailing duty order on carbazole violet pigment 23 from India, the International Trade Administration has determined that revocation of this order would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of a countervailable subsidy at rates of 14.93 to 33.61 percent.
Pencils. The ITA has initiated a new shipper review of the antidumping duty order on cased pencils from China with respect to Wah Yueh Stationery Co. Ltd. This review will determine whether this company is entitled to a separate AD duty rate. Importers will be able to post a bond or security in lieu of a cash deposit for entries of subject goods that are both exported and produced by this company until the completion of this review.
Pasta. In its administrative review of the AD duty order on pasta from Italy for the period July 1, 2013, through June 30, 2014, the ITA has preliminarily determined weighted average dumping margins of 1.18 to 12.90 percent.
Chloropicrin. In its sunset review of the AD duty order on chloropicrin from China, the ITA has determined that revocation of this order would likely lead to continuation or recurrence of dumping at weighted average margins up to 58.0 percent.
PET Film. The ITA has made a final determination that imports of polyethylene terephthalate film, sheet and strip produced by JBF Bahrain S.P.C. in Bahrain from inputs (PET chips and silica chips) manufactured in the United Arab Emirates are not circumventing the AD duty order on PET film from the UAE.
Xanthan Gum. In its administrative review of the AD duty order on xanthan gum from China for the period July 19, 2013, through June 30, 2014, the ITA has preliminarily determined weighted average dumping margins of zero to 5.14 percent. The ITA has also preliminarily determined that A.H.A. International Co. Ltd. did not have any reviewable transactions during the period of review.
