Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg Trade Report

The Bureau of Industry and Security has discontinued an information collection entitled “Triangular Transactions Covered by a U.S. Import Certificate.” However, BIS states that the triangular transactions stamp is still valid and has been added as a supplemental document to a separate information collection. This stamp, placed on an international import certificate, denotes that the importer does not intent to import or retain the items in the country issuing the certificate but that in any case the items will not be delivered to any other destination except in accordance with the Export Administration Regulations.
