Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg Trade Report

In investigation 337-TA-894, the International Trade Commission has determined to issue a limited exclusion order prohibiting the unlicensed entry of certain tires and products containing same that are manufactured abroad or imported by or on behalf of the defaulting respondents and have been found to infringe one or more patents. The ITC has also determined to issue cease and desist orders against each of the defaulting respondents that prohibit the importation, sale, advertising, marketing and distribution of covered products in the U.S. by those companies. Finally, the ITC has determined that the bond under which infringing articles may be imported during the 60-day presidential review period is 100 percent of the entered value.
