Following are highlights of regulatory effective dates and deadlines and federal agency meetings coming up in the next week.

July 8 – effective date of final rule revising data requirements for EPA registration of antimicrobial pesticide products

July 8 – deadline for comments on proposed changes to Textile Labeling Rules

July 8 – deadline for comments on proposal to allow imports of jackfruit, pineapple and starfruit from Malaysia

July 8 – deadline for comments on AGOA certificate of origin

July 8 – deadline for comments on proposed transfer of spacecraft systems from USML to CCL

July 8 – deadline for applications to participate in test program liberalizing certain FTZ operations

July 9 – effective date of full enforcement of Importer Security Filing rule

July 12 – deadline for comments on proposed rule adding export control compliance requirements for contractors to Energy Dept. regulations

July 12 – FDA meeting on implementing new statutory authority on drug imports and importers
