AD/CV Notices: Tape, Steel Plate, Washers, Copper, Furfuryl Alcohol

Plastic Tape. The International Trade Commission will hold an open meeting March 15 to vote in its sunset review of the antidumping duty order on pressure-sensitive plastic tape from Italy. This review will result in either the revocation or continuation of this order.

Steel Plate. In the preliminary results of its administrative and new shipper reviews of the AD duty order on cut-to-length carbon-quality steel plate products from Korea for the period Feb. 1, 2014, through Jan. 31, 2015, the International Trade Administration has determined weighted average dumping margins of 1.11 percent for Dongkuk Steel Mill Co. Ltd. and zero for Hyundai Steel Company. The ITA is also rescinding its administrative review with respect to 11 companies.

Washers. In the preliminary results of its administrative reviews of the AD duty orders on large residential washers from Korea and Mexico for the period Feb. 1, 2014, through Jan. 31, 2015, the ITA has determined weighted average dumping margins of 1.64 percent for LG Electronics (Korea) and 2.47 percent for Electrolux Home Products Corp. N.V. and Electrolux Home Products de Mexico S.A. de C.V. (Mexico).

Phosphor Copper. The ITC has instituted and scheduled the preliminary phase of an antidumping injury investigation of phosphor copper from Korea. A conference will be held March 30, requests to appear at the conference are due by March 28, written submissions are due by April 4, and the ITC’s preliminary determination is due by April 25.

Furfuryl Alcohol. In the preliminary results of its administrative review of the AD duty order on furfuryl alcohol from China for the period June 1, 2014, through May 31, 2015, the ITA has determined that Qingdao WenKem Co. Ltd. has not demonstrated eligibility for a separate rate and is therefore part of the China-wide entity and subject to a weighted average dumping margin of 45.27 percent.
