Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg Trade Report

Sunset Reviews. The International Trade Administration and International Trade Commission have initiated sunset reviews of the antidumping duty orders on glycine from China and polyester staple fiber from Korea and Taiwan. These reviews will result in either the revocation or continuation of these orders.

Thermal Paper. The ITA has rescinded its administrative review of the countervailing duty order on lightweight thermal paper from China for the period Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2014, because there were no entries of subject goods exported by the companies for which a review was requested during this period.

PET Film. In the preliminary results of its administrative review of the AD duty order on polyethylene terephthalate film, sheet and strip from India for the period July 1, 2014, through June 30, 2015, the ITA has determined weighted average dumping margins of 0.56 percent to 0.82 percent for four manufacturer/exporters. The ITA has also preliminarily rescinded this review with respect to five companies in response to timely filed withdrawal requests.
