Steel Shelving. The International Trade Commission will hold an open meeting Sept. 15 to hold final votes in its antidumping and countervailing injury investigations of boltless steel shelving units prepackaged for sale from China. If these votes are affirmative AD and/or CV duty orders will be issued; otherwise, the proceedings will be terminated.

PC Strand and Ironing Tables. The ITC will hold an open meeting Sept. 18 to vote in its sunset reviews of the AD and CV duty orders on pre-stressed concrete steel wire strand from China and the AD duty order on ironing tables and certain parts thereof from China. If the ITC’s votes are affirmative these orders will be continued for five years; otherwise, they will be revoked.

Cold-Rolled Steel. The ITC announced Sept. 10 that it has made affirmative preliminary AD injury determinations on cold-rolled steel flat products from Brazil, China, India, Japan, Korea, Russia and the United Kingdom and affirmative preliminary countervailing injury determinations on such goods from Brazil, China, India, Korea and Russia. As a result, the International Trade Administration will continue its AD and CV duty investigations, with preliminary determinations due by Oct. 21 (CV) and Jan. 4, 2016 (AD).

The ITC also made a negative preliminary AD injury determination on cold-rolled steel flat products from the Netherlands and has therefore terminated that investigation.
