Steel Nails. The International Trade Commission has made final affirmative antidumping and countervailing injury determinations on steel nails from Korea, Malaysia, Oman, Taiwan and Vietnam. As a result, the International Trade Administration will soon issue AD and/or CV duty orders on these goods.

Magnesia Carbon Bricks. The Court of International Trade has sustained the ITA’s determination that Fedmet Resources Corporation’s Bastion magnesia alumina carbon bricks are outside the scope of the AD and CV duty orders on certain magnesia carbon bricks from Mexico and China. The ITA is amending its final scope ruling accordingly, effective June 1.

Silicomanganese. The ITA has postponed from July 29 to Sept. 17 its preliminary dumping determination on silicomanganese from Australia.
