AD/CV: Steel Bar, Furniture, Tires, Magnesia Carbon Bricks, Electrodes

Stainless Steel Bar. In the final results of its administrative review of the antidumping duty order on stainless steel bar from India for the period Feb. 1, 2014, through Jan. 31, 2015, the International Trade Administration has determined weighted average dumping margins of zero for producers/exporters Bhansali Bright Bars Pvt. Ltd. and Ambica Steels Limited. As a result, no AD duties will be assessed on entries of subject goods during the period of review, and no AD cash deposits will be required for subject goods from these two companies that are entered or withdrawn from warehouse for consumption on or after Sept. 8.

Bedroom Furniture. The ITA has rescinded its administrative review of the AD duty order on wooden bedroom furniture from China for the period Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2015, with respect to 123 of the 141 companies or groups of companies for which a review was initiated. The ITA will instruct U.S. Customs and Border Protection to assess AD duties on entries of subject goods from these 123 entities at the AD cash deposit rates required at the time of entry or withdrawal from warehouse for consumption.

Off-Road Tires. The International Trade Commission has scheduled the final phase of its AD injury investigations of new pneumatic off-the-road tires from India and its CV injury investigation of such tires from India and Sri Lanka. A hearing will be held Jan. 4, 2017, requests to appear at the hearing are due by Dec. 29, pre-hearing briefs are due by Dec. 28, post-hearing briefs are due by Jan. 11, and final comments are due by Jan. 31.

Magnesia Carbon Bricks. In the preliminary results of its administrative review of the AD duty order on magnesia carbon bricks from China for the period Sept. 1, 2014, through Aug. 31, 2014, the ITA has determined that Fengchi Imp. & Exp. Co. Ltd. of Haicheng City and RHI Refractories Liaoning Co. Ltd. had no reviewable shipments of subject goods during this period. The ITA is also preliminarily rescinding this review with respect to Fedmet Resources Corporation.

Graphite Electrodes. In the final results of its administrative review of the AD duty order on small diameter graphite electrodes from China for the period Feb. 1, 2014, through Jan. 31, 2015, the ITA has determined weighted average dumping margins of zero for Fushun Jinly Petrochemical Carbon Co. Ltd. and 11.49 percent for Fangda Group and Xuzhou Jianglong Carbon Products Co. Ltd. AD duties based on these rates will be assessed on entries of subject goods during the period of review, and AD cash deposits at these rates will be required for subject goods entered or withdrawn from warehouse for consumption on or after Sept. 9.
