Foreign Regulatory Changes Could Affect Exports of LPG, Eyewashes, Food Products

According to the National Institute of Standards and Technology, the World Trade Organization has been notified of regulatory changes that may affect exports of specific products to the following countries. For information on how these restrictions may affect your business, contact ST&R.

Brazil – conformity assessment procedures for low-pressure liquefied petroleum gas and technical requirements for low-pressure regulators for LPG

Canada – proposal to regulate as natural health products all non-medicated eyewashes licensed as medical devices (comments due by June 3)

Egypt – mandatory standards on food products (comments due by June 30)
