Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg Trade Report

The Consumer Product Safety Commission will conduct a public hearing July 10 in Bethesda, Md., to receive views from all interested parties about its agenda and priorities for fiscal years 2014 and 2015. The CPSC is particularly interested in comments on (a) the priorities it should consider emphasizing or de-emphasizing in its FY 2014 operating plan and/or FY 2015 congressional budget request and (b) whether it should consider making any changes or adjustments to its education, safety standards activities, regulation and enforcement efforts (e.g., whether particular action items should be higher priority than others, should not be included or should be added). Requests to make oral presentations at the hearing are due no later than July 1.
