AD/CV Notices: Polyester Staple Fiber, Melamine, HFC Blends

Polyester Staple Fiber. In the final results of its administrative review of the antidumping duty order on polyester staple fiber from Taiwan for the period May 1, 2013, through April 30, 2014, the International Trade Commission has determined that (a) Nan Ya Plastics Corporation had no shipments of subject goods during this period and (b) a weighted average dumping margin of zero exists for Far Eastern New Century Corporation. As a result, no AD duties will be assessed on entries of subject goods from FENC during the period of review, and no cash deposits will be required for subject goods from FENC that are entered or withdrawn from warehouse for consumption on or after July 2.

Melamine. The ITA has postponed its final dumping determination on melamine from China to Nov. 2 and extended the application of provisional measures from four months to not more than six months.

HFC Blends. The International Trade Commission has instituted an AD injury investigation of hydrofluorocarbon blends and components from China. A conference will be held July 16, requests to appear at the conference are due by July 14, written comments are due by July 21, and the ITC’s preliminary determination is due by Aug. 10.
