The Department of Agriculture’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service is revising its list of plant inspection stations through which certain articles must pass to be imported into the U.S. Effective April 26, this final rule removes the entries for the inspection stations in New Orleans, which has been closed, and Baltimore, which was listed in error. In addition, APHIS is adding an entry for the specialized inspection station in Beltsville, Md., that is designed for handling germplasm and other plant material imported for plant breeding and research programs. This rule also updates the addresses for the inspection stations in Florida, Guam and Hawaii.
