Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg Trade Report

Pipe. In its sunset review of the antidumping and countervailing duty orders on seamless carbon and alloy steel standard, line and pressure pipe from China, the International Trade Commission has determined that revocation of these orders would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury to an industry in the U.S. within a reasonably foreseeable time. As a result, these orders will be continued for five years.

Tires. The ITC has made preliminary affirmative AD and CV injury determinations on new pneumatic off-the-road tires from India and Sri Lanka and a preliminary negative AD and CV injury determination on such tires from China. As a result, the ITA will continue its AD/CV duty investigations of tires from India and Sri Lanka, with preliminary determinations due by April 4 (CV) and June 16 (AD).

Geogrid Products. The ITC will hold an open meeting Feb. 26 in Washington, D.C., for a preliminary vote in its AD and CV injury investigations of biaxial integral geogrid products from China.
