USDA Reviewing Info Collections on Imports of Pine Nursery Stock from Canada

The Department of Agriculture’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service is accepting comments through July 15 on the proposed extension and revision of information collection requirements associated with the regulations for the importation of pine nursery stock and various pine products from Canada. These regulations are designed to help prevent the introduction and spread of pine shoot beetle into non-infested areas of the U.S. and include information collection requirements such as phytosanitary certificates with an additional declaration, statements of origin and movement, and compliance agreements.
