The Foreign-Trade Zones Board has received from the Cleveland-Cuyahoga County Port Authority, grantee of FTZ 40, a request for authority to reorganize and expand this zone under the alternative site framework. The proposed service area would encompass Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake and Lorain counties in Ohio, within and adjacent to the Cleveland U.S. Customs and Border Protection port of entry. Comments on this application are due no later than July 22.

The FTZ Board has also authorized production activity under zone procedures at the CNH America LLC facilities within subzone 41I in Racine, Wis., which are used for the production of tractors and tractor/combine components.
