Maritime Security Advisory Committee Seeks New Members

The Coast Guard is seeking through Oct. 24 applications to fill positions on the National Maritime Security Advisory Committee that will expire or become vacant as of Dec. 31. Specifically, the Coast Guard is looking for individuals who represent the interests of port authorities, facilities owners or operators, terminal owners or operators, vessel owners or operators, maritime labor organizations, the academic community, state and local governments, and the maritime industry. Such individuals who have at least five years of practical experience in their field are encouraged to apply. NMSAC members each serve for a term of three years and may be considered to serve a maximum of two consecutive terms.
