New and Amended Maritime Agreements Filed

The Federal Maritime Commission has issued notice that the following new or amended agreements have been filed. Interested parties may submit comments by Aug. 26.

West Coast of South America Discussion Agreement (Compania Chilena de Navigacion Interoceanica S.A., Compania Sud Americana de Vapores S.A., Frontier Liner Services Inc., Hamburg-Süd, Interocean Lines Inc., King Ocean Services Limited Inc., Mediterranean Shipping Company SA, Seaboard Marine Ltd., South Pacific Shipping Company Ltd. (d/b/a Ecuadorian Line), and Trinity Shipping Line) – The amendment deletes Interocean Lines Inc. and South Pacific Shipping Company Ltd. (d/b/a Ecuadorian Line) as members of the agreement, effective Aug. 16.

ITS Terminal Cooperative Working Agreement Port of Long Beach (Ports America Terminal Holdings II Inc., Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha Ltd., and International Transportation Services Inc.) – The agreement would authorize the parties to enter into a joint venture to operate an existing marine terminal at the Port of Long Beach.

Husky Terminal Cooperative Working Agreement Port of Tacoma (Ports America Terminal Holdings II Inc., Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha Ltd., and International Transportation Services Inc.) – The agreement would authorize the parties to enter into a joint venture to operate an existing marine terminal at the Port of Tacoma.
