New Maritime Agreements Filed

The Federal Maritime Commission has issued notice that the following new or amended agreements have been filed. Interested parties may submit comments by July 27.

Hoegh/Hyundai Glovis West Africa Space Charter Agreement (Hoegh Autoliners AS and Hyundai Glovis Co. Ltd.) – The agreement authorizes the parties to charter space to each other in the trade between the U.S. East and Gulf coasts, on the one hand, and Benin and Nigeria, on the other hand.

Zim/NYK Equipment Repositioning Agreement (ZIM American Integrated Shipping Service, Ltd. and Nippon Yusen Kaisha) – The agreement authorizes the parties to charter slots on each other’s vessels for the carriage of empty containers.
